1. Introduction
The Tenant is a software platform designed to help PG owners, tenants, and administrators manage PG listings, occupancy, requests, rooms, beds, payments, notices, documents, and communication records. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, you should not access or use the platform. Continued use of the platform after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Eligibility
You may use the platform only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding arrangement under applicable law. If you are registering on behalf of a business, PG operation, or other entity, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity to these terms.
3. Account registration
Users are responsible for providing complete and accurate account information, including name, phone number, email address, and role selection. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity carried out through your account.
You must not create accounts using false identity details, misleading contact information, or another person’s details without proper authority.
4. PG owner responsibilities
PG owners are responsible for the information and actions they manage on the platform, including:
- Listing accurate PG, room, bed, rent, contact, and policy details.
- Maintaining truthful tenant onboarding, approval, and occupancy records.
- Reviewing payment proofs, notices, documents, and communication logs carefully.
- Ensuring that access to tenant records and uploaded files is used only for legitimate operational purposes.
- Complying with applicable housing, contract, taxation, consumer, and local law requirements.
5. Tenant responsibilities
Tenants are responsible for the information and records they submit, including:
- Using correct identity, contact, stay, and payment details.
- Uploading only genuine payment proofs, documents, and permitted file types.
- Reviewing PG details independently before making decisions.
- Using complaint, request, payment, and notice features in good faith.
- Not misrepresenting occupancy, payment status, or document authenticity.
6. Subscription plans and billing
Certain features of the platform may be offered under paid subscription plans. Plan benefits, pricing, duration, access limits, and feature availability may vary by plan and may be changed from time to time.
PG owners are responsible for reviewing plan details before subscribing. Fees paid for subscriptions are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or explicitly approved by our support or administrative team.
7. Free trial terms
Where a free trial is offered, it is intended to allow limited evaluation of the platform. Trial access may include usage caps, feature restrictions, duration limits, or eligibility checks. The Tenant may start, stop, modify, or withdraw a free trial offering at any time.
8. Payment proof and approval process
Subscription requests and certain payment-related workflows may require a user to upload payment proof or supporting documents. In some cases, plan activation, extension, or access changes may remain pending until review and approval by an administrator.
Uploading a payment proof does not automatically confirm a payment, activate a subscription, or guarantee approval. Users are responsible for ensuring that submitted payment information is genuine, legible, and correctly linked to the relevant account or transaction.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the platform to:
- Upload false, unlawful, malicious, infringing, or misleading content.
- Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, files, private routes, or administrative functions.
- Interfere with platform security, availability, or performance.
- Use automated scripts, scraping tools, or abusive request patterns without permission.
- Store or distribute harmful files, executable files, or content intended to bypass platform restrictions.
10. User-generated content and uploaded documents
Users may upload listing images, profile photos, vehicle photos, documents, government IDs, payment proofs, and subscription proofs. You retain responsibility for all content submitted through your account.
By uploading content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights or authority to submit it and to make it available within the platform workflow. Sensitive files should be handled carefully. Access to private uploads is intended to be limited based on role and legitimate operational need, but users remain responsible for careful submission and internal handling.
11. Data accuracy responsibility
Users are responsible for the correctness of PG, tenant, rent, payment, occupancy, document, and notice information entered or uploaded on the platform. The Tenant does not independently verify every listing, record, or payment-related claim unless explicitly stated.
Decisions made based on platform data remain the responsibility of the relevant PG owner, tenant, or administrator.
12. Service availability
We aim to keep the platform available and functioning reliably, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, third-party dependency failures, internet disruptions, cloud storage issues, or security events may affect availability, uploads, notifications, or other features.
13. Account suspension or termination
The Tenant may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where we reasonably believe a user has violated these terms, created a security risk, provided false information, abused the platform, or used the service in a manner that may expose us or other users to legal or operational harm.
We may also suspend access where required for compliance, investigation, payment review, or platform protection.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Tenant provides the platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business interruption losses arising from use of the platform, including disputes between PG owners and tenants, inaccurate records, delayed approvals, failed uploads, or third-party service interruptions.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service to reflect legal, operational, product, or security changes. Revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Users should review the terms periodically.
16. Contact and support
For questions about these terms or to report account, access, or compliance concerns, please contact the The Tenant support or administrative team through the contact information or support channel made available on the platform.
